 J Lo turned her head as I walked into the room, but I played it cool.

18th May 2006 - This was the big day in Vegas, we did a lot of activities today.  We woke up and went down to the restaurants for breakfast. We had a hearty breakfast at Nathan's.  After that, I sat and watched as most of the grown ups went and gambled. It was a great sight for me, to see all those shiny lights and the sound of money. I can only go to the casinos after 21 years .  My father then took my cousins, aunt and Uncle to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. It was a really hot day with the temperatures well over 100 F and the returned home quickly.

For lunch, we went Chin Chin, a Chinese restaurant in the New York, New York Casino. Ney York, New York is a new casino built on the New York theme. The hotel has the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Brooklyn Bridge etc etc. We had a nice leisurely lunch.

After lunch, we went to the M&M stores on the Strip. The M&M Store is a three level store dedicated to all things M&M. In this store, there are different levels for chocolates, clothes, souveniers etc etc. We spent a lot of time in this store and I also got a nice photo ops with my cousins Neha, Anoushka and the first three M&M's.

After the M&M store, we went to the MGM Grand Casino where we saw the lions of MGM. We just walked around the casino before heading back to our hotel room.

Our final stop for the evening was the Madame Tussaud's Wax Musuem at the Venetian Casino. The Venetian is probably the most beautiful casino that I saw on this trip. It has this beautiful false ceiling that looks that sky. We went to the Wax Museum and it was full of celebrities. I met so many celebrities that day (so what if they were just their wax version, I am too small to know)

Too many to list.....but it was fun.

At the end of the day, we came back to the room and I quickly fell asleep. This was probably the most exciting day of my life so far.
