Aquarium at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas

Nov 19th, 2007 - We went to the Caesar's Palace Casino this morning as it was right next to the Hotel that we stayed in. Its a beautiful hotel with really nice interiors, I especially liked the little water pools around around and inside the hotel. I almost ran and jumped into one of them. My parents wanted me to see the aquarium inside the hotel and I was fascinated for a while. After that, I was running into the other stores pulling things and make a nuisance of myself. Cool

Viva Las Vegas

Nov 18th, 2007 - This is my third trip to Vegas and I am less than 2 years old. Since my grandmother and uncle are here, my parents thought it would be a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving and also celebrate my grandmother's 60th birthday (that was my mother's idea). We drove to Vegas which is about 5 hours away and for the most part, I had a good time driving it.

We reached late in the afternoon and stayed at Treasure Island Casino. It was a nice Casino and we had a good view of the strip. In the evening, we went out for a walk on the Strip and I had a great time running all over the Strip. I think I must have run for 2 hours straight. This is only day 1........

16th Nov, 2007 - Sachin Bappa arrived from Seattle this evening. He will be here for a week to spend time with us. We will be going to Las Vegas on Sunday and then he will stick around for Thanksgiving as well. This will be the first time, I will be spending time with my uncle and my grandmother.

My uncle loves to eat and one of the most popular items when anyone comes to our place is Biryani and Kheema from Al-Watan. My dad and uncle went straight to Al-Watan and got the food. My uncle was in heaven.

I am looking forward to this week. I think it will be a lot of fun.

Bapamma Arrives

Nov 8th, 2007 -  Today my grandmother arrived from India. Her flight came in the evening and we all went to receive her at the airport. Once she saw me, she took me out of the stroller (big mistake) and I started running all over the airport. Finally, I made it home. Omce we got there, I ran out of the car and took my grandma home all by myself. I know how to get there.

I then made her evening more memorable by climbing on the dining table and eating off her plate. I really made a mess of the entire table.

Welcome Bapamma. You are in for a lot of fun. Wink

The Next Food Network Star?

6th Nov, 2007 - If you have been following my blog, you will know that I love eating and also love to pretend like I am cooking. I think this is due to the fact that my mother loves to cook and she also watches the Food Network. Do you think I can be the next Food Network star? I have the style, the technique and besides, I will be the cutest star ever!!

Chai Time

Nov 3rd, 2007 -  Chai is a favorite in my house, starting from my parents to my uncle and my grandmother. The day does not start until they have a nice hot cup of tea. My mother likes to make tea in the traditional Indian style but boiling the water, adding the tea leaves, draining the tea etc. Every morning, while I have my milk, she has her tea. Once she is done with her tea, she hand me the tools of the tea-making trade and I pretend to make my own cup of tea.

Want to taste some?
