Give Your Baby the World™ with this two-stage gym that features magical music, lights, foreign language sounds and learning. Engaging hands-on activities help develop fine motor skills and encourage baby to bat, reach and explore. As your baby grows, the gym easily transforms from infant lie-down play to sitting play.

For the lie-down infant, the gym is truly a multi-sensory learning experience, with twinkling lights, 10 minutes of instrumental melodies from around the world, and a colorful, motorized mobile to fascinate baby. The LeapStart Learning Gym features a fully adjustable volume control.

The actual item may vary from the photographs and/or illustrations.

Toy Story I - Winnie the Pooh Mobile

 Winnie the Pooh Mobile

This was the first toy that my father got for me.  He felt that a toy that moved, made sounds and had lights would be the best toy.  He made a good choice. I love this toy. The mobile is very bright and colorful and has a Winnie the Pooh theme.

The mobile attaches to the bed right above my head. The mobile plays three tunes, the Winnie the Pooh tune, a classical music selection and peaceful sounds of the forest. I dont like the sounds of the forest, I'm a city baby.  The tunes run for about 10 minutes and my parents really appreciate the remote that came with it.

An Evening with Padmaja Phenany Joglekar

Image

April 22nd, 2006 - Padmaja Phenany Joglekar is a renowned singer from India. Besides her success with her albums, she has also been awarded the Padmashree in 2001. She also happens to be my aunt. She is currently touring the US playing to some private audiences to raise money for some worthy causes in India. She is playing a couple of concerts in Los Angeles this weekend and my granparents went to see one of her shows.  The show was at the residence of Mr Vidya and Ashok Sapre in La Habra. I was unable to go the show. The turnout was good and people enjoyed the show. The show went on for about 4 hours and the crowd wanted more.

My other aunt Usha, her husband and Padmaja Aunty's husband Sunil also came to LA. When I grow up, I will also go and watch her sing.

Family Reunion

 Image

April 15th, 2006 - Today was a big day in the family. My cousin sisters Neha, Anoushka, my aunt Seema and my grandfather came to LA from India. They are having their summer vacation right now and they decided to spend the holidays with me. Isn't that nice. They just got home today and I thought they would be tired and exhausted, but no, they are bright and running around. Looks like they slept on the flight. They are very excited to be in the US and are looking forward to visiting Disneyland, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo among other things.
