Jan 28th, 2007 - Today is my parents' third wedding anniversary and my first anniversary with them. They got lots of phone calls, emails and cards wishing them well. Last year they were hoping I would be born on this day. It also happens to be my uncle Prem's birthday too. We went to a Mexican place called Guelaguetza for lunch. The food was pretty good. It is not the typical Mexican food, no tacos and burritos on the menu. I got to taste a little bit of the chips and salsa. Other than that we spent a relaxing day at home. My dad was trying to get over the fact that there was no football today but was looking forward to the Donald firing someone. |

Jan 29th, 2007 - Now that I have become a lot more mobile, I am really upto a lot of mischief. I am no longer satisfied with the toys that I have but I find more fun reaching for things that I am not supposed to grab. I reach out and pull all the DVDs and books down from the shelf. I pull all the wires from their sockets. I pull my diapers and wipes box from the table when my mother is not looking. I also make a quick dash for any shoes and socks that I can find. I think my father got really tired and put me in a box, but I had fun in there too. BTW, my mother cooked some wonderful lamb chops.....Oh the aroma..... |

Bombay Palace, Beverly Hills

Jan 24th, 2007 - My father had a company event at the Bombay Palace in Beverly Hills. It was a small group of 20 people. Most of the guests thought I was a girl because of my long hair . The function was pretty nice, people came up to me and tried to talk to me. However, the restaurant itself was a disaster. The hostess was rude, the food was terrible and the restaurant was very poorly lit. I was in a good mood and let out of scream and the hostess came running and said, "Please take your baby out". How rude? I guess babies in Beverly Hills don't cry or make loud noises. Don't think I will ever visit this place again. |
