June 2nd, 2007 - Spice Route is a new restaurant that opened in Bellevue and my uncle thought that it would be a good idea to go there for lunch. We got there a little before noon and managed to get a table very quickly. They had a buffet with lots of tasty options with both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian dishes. I ate some Naan and a sample of various dishes that my parents fed me. My parents and uncle enjoyed the food a lot. I sat in my high chair for a few minutes but after that I wanted to run around the restaurant. They had a little stage in one corner and I started running on it and it kept me busy. |
It was good we came in early because around 1, there was a huge mob outside waiting for place. Seems like this place is very good.
Visiting Seattle

June 1st, 2007 - Seattle is where my uncle Sachin lives and my mother and I had never visited Seattle before, so this trip was long pending. We took a Friday evening flight into Seattle and got in late around 10 PM. I was very unhappy in the flight and kept crying and my poor parents had to take me to the back of the flight to keep me entertained. The air-stewardesses were very nice to me. One elder American gentleman spoke to me in Hindi and said "Sab theek ho jayega beta". Strange but true. |
I am excited to be in Seatlle and am looking forward to visiting some of the landmarks like the Space Needle, the Public Market, Snoqualmie Falls and other interesting places. Please keep reading my blogs.

July 21st, 2007 - I went to a convention today and it turned out to be a Grease-2 reunion as well. I met Adrian Zmed, Leif Green, Maureen, Liz and Jean Sagal. They were very nice to talk to. They saw me and wanted to talk to me. I shook their hand but did not speak much. I think I was a little star-struck . They spoke to my parents for a while asking about where we were from, what we liked etc. They took pictures with us and signed a picture for me. On the picture Leif wrote...."To the handsomest boy in Hollywood".

} | July 21st, 2007 - Since we live in Los Angeles, there is a good chance, we can see or meet some Hollywood celebrities. My parents found one such event called the Hollywood Collectors show which invites some Hollywood celebreties to a convention where common people like myself can meet these starts, get their autographs, take pictures with them etc. My parents thought it would be a good idea to go meet some of them. Most of the stars who attend these events are not huge celebrities. In most cases, they were TV stars of shows that are no longer running or popular. |
Once we got there, we paid the entrance fee and went into the hotel conference room. It was well organized and very systematic. There was no crowd. We walked around to see if we could identify anyone and as we were going around, the Grease 2 table took a liking to me and wanted to talk to me. Imagine that, they wanted to talk to me. Having me around helped my parents to start a conversation with these stars. We took some pictures with them and they also autographed a picture for me. I met Adrian Zmed, Leif Green, Maureen, Liz and Jean Sagal. It was also the 25th year reunion of the movie.
After that I met the Grease 2 cast, I met Lou Ferrigno, who was on the Incredible Hulk. Morgan Fairchild was sitting next to him but no one seemed to care. I also met Charlotte Rae who was Mrs Garrett on the show Diff'rent Strokes. I also took a picture with Barry Williams, who was Greg Brady on the Brady Bunch.
