Jan 17th,  2009 - Today is my Amma's birthday so it means party time. I started the day by giving Amma a birthday card and a gift followed by singing "Happy Birthday to you". My Dad and I went out to a local cafe called the "Celebrity Cafe" to get some breakfast for us. for lunch we wanted to try something new so we went to a Moroccan restaurant in Irving called the Kasbah Grill. We really liked the food there especially the Falafels.

Through the day, Amma's friends and other family members called to wish my mother. In the evening, we went to the Mall and had dinner at a local Thai place called Zense.
