RoadTrip - San Diego Zoo

 | May 7th 2006 - My parents took me out of town, finally!!! This weekend we went to the world famous San Diego Zoo. We started off early in the morning and it was a two-hour drive from Los Angeles to San Diego. My mother and my grandparents were also there. My mother had the perfect outfit for me. It was a set of clothes that had different animals on it such as elephants, monkeys etc. It was really cute. |
I was pretty good on the car drive. I slept most of the way and started crying a little bit of just before we reached the zoo. At the Zoo, we met my aunt, uncle and my cousins Neha and Anoushka. They were staying in San Diego at my aunt's place. They were really excited to be at the Zoo.
Once we got into the Zoo, we walked around the various animals in the zoo such as the monkeys, polar bears, pandas, tigers, hawks, hippos etc. It was really great fun. At the end of the day, I took a bus ride in my car seat and I had the trip around the entire zoo. It was a day to remember. My parents said I was a good baby the entire day. I did not cry much.
The San Diego Zoo is very baby friendly too. They offer strollers, have special toilets to change babies, plenty of open spaces and seats. I give it Two Thumbs up!! I will come back again when I grow up.
After the Zoo, we went to my Aunt Hema's place for dinner. While my parents enjoyed the Kofta Curry and Chicken Badshah, I was stuck with milk. :-( I also met my cousin Ayush again. We all had a quick photo session. I will put those photos up later.
My next trip and my first will be to Las Vegas!!! Viva Las Vegas!!
