Trip to Dinosaur World in Glen Rose
Dec 20th,  2008 - After our trip to Fossil Rim, we decided to stop over at something called the Dinosaur World which is in Glen Rose, Texas. We were warned that this place is not that great but my parents decided to give it a shot anyway. The Dinosaur World is nothing but a large piece of land with a lot of real life plastic dinosaurs. Unless you are really a big fan of dinosaurs and know something about it, you can finish the entire exhibit in about 15-20 minutes. We saw all the dinosaurs of different sizes and various colors as we walked around the park and then we bought a few toys at the store and headed home. Dinosaur World also had a museum, a fossil dig area and a play area for kids. The cost of the tickets is about $12 and not really worth it. There is a Dinosaur State Park close by where actual dinosaur world |

Trip to Fossil Rim Adventure Park in Glen Rose
Dec 20th, Â 2008 - My parents took me to a wildlife park close to Dallas called the Fossil Rim Adventure Park. Its about and hour and a half from where we live. We reached the park at around 11:30 in the morning. We bought the tickets and along with that we also got a bag of animal food. The park is a lot of fun, we can drive around the park in our own car with the windows down and the animals come close to the window looking for food. You will see from the pictures. On the trip I saw a lot of animals

PlayDoh Time
Dec 4th,  2008 - One of the things that I love to do at school is play with Play-Doh. For those who do not know what Play-Doh is, its like clay that kids can play with to make whatever our minds imagine. Right now all I care about it to putting it in my hands and have fun. My mother taught me how to make a sphere and then we used some bits of the play-doh to spell my name ...N I K H I L. |

Trip to Onyx Caves
Nov 15th, 2008 - After the trip to the first WalMart store, we decided to go to Eureka Springs which was about 25 miles away from Rogers. It was a pretty drive and we really got to enjoy the drive because we were stuck behind a big truck. It took us an hour to get there and we drove around the town on something called the "Historic Loop". It was rather difficult to find any parking and it was very cold ad gloomy outside so we decided to enjoy Eureka Springs from the comfort of the car. Just outside the town there is an interesting cave called the Onyx cave and it has formations of the stalactites and stalagmites. We decide to go and see that as its something my parents had never seen before. The cave is quite small and you can walk through most of it in about 20 minutes but it was interesting all the same. We decided to head back to Dallas stopping by in Fayetteville on the way. |
