We finally arrived in Los Angeles at around 2 PM and that was the end of my first trip to Vegas. I woul recommend that everyone make at least one trip to Vegas in their lifetime.  I'll be back.........Governator style...

Spiderman I - Universal Studios Hollywood

Spiderman and me at Universal Studios Hollywood

20th May 2006 - Saturday morning, we all went to Universal Studios in Hollywood. Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park in Los Angeles where the rides, shows and other events are based on movies made by the Universal Studios company. The park is about 30 minutes away from where we live and my father made two trips to get everyone there.  It was very crowded and there were lots of people there.

Once we got there, we took the Universal Studio Tour which is basically a 45 minute trolley ride through the studio backlot. If you are a movie fan, this is truly a fun ride.

Vegas Vacation

Image  17th May 2006 - Viva Las Vegas!! My mother's sister, her husband and her two kids are visiting from India and they wanted to see Vegas before they returned to India so all of us went for a 3-day vacation to Las Vegas. My mother, grandparents and I took a flight to Las Vegas and my father drove to Vegas with them.  That was my first flight ever and I had a great time. It was Southwest flight 1156, fairly short about 50 minutes. I was a good baby, did not cry at all.  Once we reached Vegas, we took a shuttle and went to the Monte Carlo Casino and Hotel. It was a pretty nice hotel as you can see in the picture.

RoadTrip - San Diego Zoo

Image May 7th 2006 - My parents took me out of town, finally!!! This weekend we went to the world famous San Diego Zoo. We started off early in the morning and it was a two-hour drive from Los Angeles to San Diego. My mother and my grandparents were also there. My mother had the perfect outfit for me. It was a set of clothes that had different animals on it such as elephants, monkeys etc. It was really cute.

I was pretty good on the car drive. I slept most of the way and started crying a little bit of just before we reached the zoo. At the Zoo, we met my aunt, uncle and my cousins Neha and Anoushka. They were staying in San Diego at my aunt's place. They were really excited to be at the Zoo.
