Fun at the Grapevine Mall

Apr 5th, 2008 - I keep outgrowing my clothes pretty quickly and so it was time to get more new clothes for me. There is a huuuuuuugggeee mall close to where we live called the Grapevine Mills Mall. It has so many stores, I was not able to count (you see, I can only count upto 10 right now). My mother did all the shopping while I ran around the mall giving my dad a hard time. There were many small rides for children, colorful toy stores, food court and other things to distract me. There are so many childrens stores in this mall, Children's Place, Tommy Kids, Osh Kosh BGosh, KBToys, Gymboree.....I think a few people were smiling at me because I was trying on all the sandals on display in the shoe stores. We spent about 4 hours in the mall and returned home.

Fun at Cimarron Park, Irving

April 3rd, 2008 - In the quest to find me a new park, my parents have found an even bigger park, its called the Cimmaron Park and its about a mile away from where we live. The park has many things for everyone to do, basketball courts and hoops, slides, swings, kids play areas, soccer field, volleyball playground. I had a good time as I came sliding down the slides, walked through the tunnels, walked the bridges. My parents liked this park too and I think I will be having more fun here for the rest of the year. |
Trip to the Dentist

May 19th, 2008 - My mother had to go to the dentist's office this morning and so we all went to the office together. Everyone at Dr Smith's office is very friendly and they always come and talk to me. They have this dinosaur toy whose teeth you can pull out and I play with it for some time. My father entertained me for a while and then we went out for a drive. We spent time in the car playing with caps and other things in the car. It was fun and I had a good time. Any time, I am out of the house is always fun for me. It was really hot outside today. Looks like the Texan summer is coming. |
Walking on the Escalator for the first time

May 18th, 2008 - Today is Sunday and so I am able to spend time with both my parents today which is always nice. My dad gets busy during the week and I don't get much time with him. In the morning, we were at home having a slow Sunday, doing some cleaning in the house. In the evening, my Dad took me to the Valley Ranch Mall which is close to where we live. They have a small play area but there were too many kids there and I just ran out of the play area. Seems like I am a little short on patience. |
I decided that it would be more fun to run around the mall and I went in and out of stores till I finally found something new.....THE ESCALATOR. My father held my hand and we went up the escalator and I was completely hooked. We went up and down a few times till my father decided that it was time to go home. I like this and want to do this again....
The Piano Man

May 17th, 2008 - Today we went to the Grapevine Mills Mall and my parents bought me a new toy, a musical keyboard. They thought that I might like it and like it I did. It has a lot of things a kid likes such as keys, nice sounds, bright colors and last but not the least a mic for me to sing. My dad set it up and I started banging the keyboard and singing songs. It fascinated me for the rest of the day. I like this keyboard but my father is fairly positive that soon I will be key-BORED and it will lie around the home. |

May 15th, 2008 - On the 15th of every month, my mother has a mini-celebration for me where she makes something sweet or gets something sweet for me. Today we got a small cake and you can see me stabbing it. |
